Although I probably appear to be against metoo's hypothetical aspirations, I am not. It is their application by puritans, greedy folks, partisans and attorneys which invites issues.
If someone exhibits a pattern of bad behaviour, then there's probably a bad character behind it. By all means, remove them from their positions of control. Punish them if the violations break serious laws of misconduct.
But these bland, personal space violations speak about the supposed victims instead of the alleged harrasser. Newspapers shouldn't convey such assaults on a person's reputation.
