Parliament has had difficulties with Britain's membership of the EU for decades. The point of a referendum was to allow the people to decide.
But now we are back with parliament in control.
For myself, I am with an exit under transitional WTO terms if necessary. Then we can begin putting together a trading arrangement as a non-EU country, just like other countries have done (eg Canada).
It's a waste of three years that no such deal was struck. But both the EU and Mrs May had their own agendas and neither was really tuned into the voice of the majority of the British people.
