For me, he's the kind of target MeToo ought to have. Yes, talented people are sometimes deviant.
Yes, people we like and admire sometimes exhibit a pattern of deviant behaviour.
Like that guy.
It's when you demand justice for victims in spite of liking and admiring people that you can claim to be just.
If you say it only when the person seems like a bad actor and you don't know them, that's not making hard choices.
When there's one accuser or dodgy-sounding accusations, I assume innocence. But don't tell me that a minor child was happy with his choice to be abused by Michael Jackson. Minor children want protection against the nasty creeps who abuse them. Whoever the hell they are.
