This may not be the best moment to say this.
But I am not sure it's helpful to conflate Islamophobia with racism. It's a religion which people of all sorts of races embrace.
We need to distinguish the extreme sorts of Islam from the non-violent sort, so folks don't get confused. If this guy had joined the Kurds fighting Isis no one would have complained. We want to promote the peaceful strains of Islam and isolate the baddies.
Does anyone have an issue with Isisphobia? I don't.
White power groups are racist, of course, and encouraging their beliefs is a bad thing.
