Overnight we've had better than an inch of rain. This will put us well over our annual rainfall average of 14 inches, and we've still got at least a month to a month and half of the rainy season (officially, annual rainfall is measured October to October). They are predicating that the rain will continue thru today and into tomorrow with more coming on Sunday and then again a couple of days in the middle of next week. It's also been snowing heavy up in the Sierras where most of our drinking and irrigation water comes from.

Today there are flash flood warnings for the foothill and mountain areas of the county, but we should be OK down here on the flat-lands.
