While I'm not a fan of hers for POTUS, I thought her rollout was high energy.

She made a solid speech & offered worthwhile ideas.
Having Joe Kennedy introduce her was smart, too.

I think this bs with the tribal leaders gettng upset goes too far, as they claim you are an Indian only if the tribe says so because of your culture and other wooly explanations. So, those who left the reservations are what? Give us a break dudes. Your women were regularly mixed up with white men and therefore there’s lots of “Injuns” floating about who don’t even know it.

So, easy on the baloney. Someone should tell them and stop this politically correct baloney that whites can’t have a team called Redskins.

If your folks told you there was Indian blood in your family’s past, then you can definitely feel proud to be part Indian, if you like Indians. And in Warren’s case what she was told is true, even though there is very little Indian DNA in her. She is not Indian, though, and the Navajo “elders” out there should relax, for many reasons, and beause there were lots of eastern tribes that had nothing to do woth them.

So, ease off everyone. And if it is proven that she got any benefits in life because she claimed Indian, then while it would be wrong it is not in anyway proven that she did actually gain anything, because even the latest one was a membership card, not an application to anything that mattered. It’s just political spinola, but what really bothered me was the “elders” getting offended because an American who actually had Indian blood in them felt “Indian”, which should be an honor to them, not an insult, and they should understand it as that. She never gained anything, and therefore did not take it away from them by claiming Indian ancestry.

This country is turning even more stupid, missing whole forests for trees.
