Gore was a better candidate than I realised at the time. And Bush a worse one. I sorta admired Bush in his last two years as he began to realise that his ideology was failing and he retreated towards his family inheritance of decency and patriotism. He seemed to stop listening to Cheney at the end.

Hillary would have been stuck with a GOP Congress, so we would have had the status quo. Better than Trump, but Trump's presidency may prove a cost worth paying now that the GOP's total political bankruptcy is revealed and Pelosi can hold the line against the worst damage.

I like him too.
But I see him more as a veep.

I wonder if Uncle Joe will jump in?
I think he really wants to, but knows he doesn't have the strength for a long campaign with many primaries.

Its a younger persons energy that can withstand the rigors of that!

It still boggles my mind that Hillary ran TWICE, talk about stamina & courage.

There are times I wonder, what of Gore had won in 2000 & Hillary in 2016. what a difference they would have made for us all. sigh....
