That's how I view Bloomberg too.

He's been willing to put his money behind issues he supports, gun control, anti smoking, supporting democrats, along with his support for Hillary.

Like you I don't think he could with the primary, but he also would fully support whichever dem is the candidate.
He's a patriot!

I would prefer an actual Dem. But Bloomberg would be as good an old definition Republican as you are likely to find.

I am interested to see where the anti-inequality movement goes and I don't think Bloomberg's quite the right candidate for that!

On the other hand, he's the sort of rich guy I don't find any fault with. Made his own fortune. Treats employees pretty well, far as I can tell.
