Giuliani says Moscow Trump Tower plans continued into November 2016, which Sen. Warner says is 'big news'
President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, said on NBC’s “Meet the Press” Sunday that plans to build a Trump Tower in Moscow remained as “active proposal” as late as November of 2016, leaving open the possibility that Trump’s family-led company continued to pursue the business deal up until the presidential election, months later than previously known.
Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., also appearing exclusively on “Meet the Press,” said that the idea that negotiations could have continued into November was “big news,” asking why the details were just emerging now, two years after the fact.
