Hopefully, having flirted with monstrosity, the US people are able to claw back up the cliff they have leapt from.

But the lack of safeguards is shocking.

New checks and balances wanted.

Brown immigrants in the US know what it's like to be German Jews in the mid 1930s.

Hate the stranger is the message. Love the nostalgic idea of racial and cultural purity.

We also see Sophie's Choice family separations and internment camps for children.

It's not a huge step from here to showers and ovens. They have the administrative team with which to cross the threshold.

Thank goodness for the House.
