That's what's so great about lung cancer. When doctors discover it, they can cure it in only two weeks. You'll notice that nobody dies of lung cancer anymore.

What type of internal cancer requires no further treatment just two weeks after it has been discovered? I think… only the kind for which no further treatment is possible.

When cancerous tumors are found and removed, normal procedure if a "cure" is feasible, is chemo. That way, the cancer can be wiped out if it has spread. When a cure isn't feasible, the normal procedure is to send the patient home and make her as comfortable as possible. That is what they've done.
