Other than its disqualifying nature, there's one interesting feature that she has highlighted.

Many countries in Latin America now see the US as a less benign and less constructive partner than China.

That's to say, the US supports monsters. China provides infrastructure.

I wonder why they are shifting towards China?

Doh.

Same is gradually happening in Europe, although doubtless they are hoping they can simply wait for the end of Trump's presidency.

It isn't a winning hand to ally the US with dictators. No one likes that sort of partner. In the long run, those countries will hate the US with great intensity.

Meanwhile, the US will never get alliances with folks like the Kurds again. They were screwed by Bush Sr. Dubya wanted to show them the Bushes were sorry. Now they have been screwed by Trump.

This is setting up the next world war as there are no alliances of common values and no peaceful means of competing and/or cooperating. And so there will be angry confrontations over terrestrial - and celestial - power and authority.

suggests she's not viable as a potential president.

"Congratulations to Brazil’s new President Bolsonaro. It’s great to have another U.S.-friendly leader in South America, who will join the fight against dictatorships in Venezuela and Cuba, and who clearly understands the danger of China’s expanding influence in the region."
