Phone Shows Cohen ‘Near Prague’ at Time of ‘Russia Meeting’
A mobile phone allegedly traced to Michael Cohen, President Trump’s now-convicted former “fixer,” shows him in the Prague area in summer 2016 during the U.S. presidential campaign, a report from McClatchy News indicates.
The alleged electronic record supports previous claims that the personal lawyer for then-candidate Trump met with Russian officials in secret, according to the report, which attributes the information to four people with “knowledge of the matter.”
The purported meeting was part of the dossier former British spy Christopher Steele compiled regarding the Kremlin’s possible interactions with Trump’s campaign before he was elected president.
