I gave Trump credit for the stock market's value once he was elected and before he was installed. The stock market forecasts the future. And Trump hadn't done his damage yet.
He remains president. He still takes the credit for the stock market. If credit is what we call it. The ratings ain't great.
What an absolute buffoon he is. He inherited a balanced, gradually growing economy with low interest rates, a sustainable deficit and strong unemployment numbers heading in a good direction.
By 2020 we're likely looking at a shrinking economy, unsustainable levels of debt, high interest rates and increasing unemployment, as well as a trade war. The GOP looks likely to be decimated at the general election. Maybe there will be enough Dems in the senate to make some constitutional changes of the sort required. eg to campaign finance and gun laws, as well as perhaps creating a council capable of circumscribing the powers of the president who isn't obedient to the norms of the office.
