Something the flyover country has no clue about, because they haven’t lived in NY, Chicago, Miami, etc....They haven’t seen the limos, experience the fear and smell of death around these fellas. In NY, people who grew up in Brooklyn still talk about all the mobsters cemented in the Verrazano bridge. They even think Hoffa’s bones are in there too.
So, to us who have lived in NYC, these things sound awful familiar, the rich with the mobsters, and Trump did rub elbows with mobsters in his Atlantic City casino. He was regularly seen there with them.
He understands loyalty in the Omertà way, you keep your mouth shut, do as you’re told, and you’ll be ok.
