I would guess that the wages of domestic low income earners would likely increase with moderated immigration. Although doubtless there are other factors in play.

After the plague, wages and freedoms increased for the survivors, at least in the short run.

I guess overall economic growth is likely to be stronger with a larger workforce.

If those in power were really concerned with illegal immigrants they would pass a law, with teeth, making employers responsible for hiring.

In fact with unemployment being so low we are going to need more, yet Trump has lowered the legal number.
