It rained here last night so that's something to be thankful for. Supposed to get up to 67Ëš today.

My wife and I are going to Mass this morning and then at 12:30 were going out for Thanksgiving Day dinner. Our family dinner is planned for Saturday as our #2 son and his wife both have to work today and since #1 son is in Texas and #3 son is now living in Michigan, we're alone this year.

On Saturday, the plan is to go up to LA to #2 son's house where they plan to have a big dinner for family and friends. They both have to work today, our son working a catering gig that he does every year for a big family in Pasadena, and his wife is the executive chef at Lawry's in LA where, as of a week ago, they already had 2,600 reservations.

Anyway, Saturday will be a big spread of American and Mexican food (our daughter-in-law is from Mexico). We did this last year on the Friday after Thanksgiving as seen below:
