Do you suppose you'll learn when California's problems worsen rapidly in the next few years relative to those in most of the rest of the country?
I don't think you will. I think you'll just blame Donald Trump and the Republicans.
I saw California's problems mounting before I left 13 years ago. Since then, it has grown far worse, exceeding my expectations by a country mile. You, however, can't see beyond your own nose and are somehow oblivious to the problems and how people like you are causing them. I'll just remind you of the story of the frog in the pot of water on the stove. Well, you're that frog. California is the stove. The analogy fits well except that the frog in the story isn't so stupid as to feel the heat and simultaneously build a bonfire beneath its own pot the way that you are.
Enjoy what awaits you, OCU. Forgive me if you don't garner much sympathy from me when it happens, though. I don't suffer fools gladly.
