But the representatives of several countries were noticeably missing. The US president was evidently taking orders from his Russian boss. And the UK people seem to have been in London. Was Italy there somewhere?
Nice touch to bring the Germans to the event even if the disastrous Mrs Merkel was their representative. The fact of reconciliation is important, even if it didn't exactly happen after WWI.
