That cartoon is so disingenuous. No one is 'fighting' to vote these days - except for those who aren't eligible. (I'm a little surprised the cartoon doesn't show someone in line wearing prison stripes.)
Absentee ballots are widely available for a month before election day. Almost no one has to travel more than a few miles, at worst, to get to their polling place. The cartoon's whole premise is misleading, suggesting that many World War II veterans are "fighting" for their right to vote. There are fewer than half a million such veterans remaining, many in no condition to vote, in a total voting pool of about 240 million people.
The whole premise is just ridiculous... dishonest... and continuing to be pushed by you.
Few things make a stronger case for how low I.Q. the liberal voter base is than cartoons and messages like these current ones. I mean, if they can't see through this sort of stupidity, then the Democrats really are a party of morons.
