I hope you're right. I'm concerned though because of unusually high absentee ballot counts from young people, including many who are voting for the first time. One article said that five times as many young voters submitted absentee ballots as did in 2014.

Young voters are overwhelmingly liberal since they have little in the way of assets at that point in their lives and aren't particularly wise/experienced. Socialism sounds great if you aren't the one who will be footing the bill and have no conscience.

Too bad these people don't realize that, once invoked, socialism will never go away… and that before long, they will be the ones footing the very high bill.
