The accusation that the victim has partisan motives was a disgraceful attempt to subvert the truth for partisan gain. The folks who invented it care not a bean for reality or for the reputation of anyone.
Those who then spread the accusation ought to be ashamed and to question their own credulity. If those are your sources, that's why you've gone off the rails.
