Just how many do you think there should be? Half? In that case, Democrats are coming up short on this as well.
For your information, there are only 5 Republican women in the Senate. That means that, statistically, you'd only expect to find one Republican woman on the Judiciary Committee. Zero isn't much of a deviation from that and is within the range one might expect for any set of 5 senators if they all had an equal shot at it. I assure you, there are committees where Republican women are statistically over-represented, and others where Democrat women are statistically under-represented.
Consider, perhaps, the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. Women make up a third of the Senate Democrats, but nine of the ten Democrats on this important committee are MEN. What's the matter, clo? Don't Democrats think women are good at Foreign Relations? (LOL. Based on the last female Secretary of State, I can see why you might think that.)
Perhaps your point really should be that women must do a better job of getting themselves elected to the Senate. That's true on both sides of the political spectrum, so don't try to spin it as a Republican shortcoming. Democrats only have 16 female Senators. Statistically, they should have 25.
Given that Democrats don't elect equal numbers of female Senators but still talk like they want equality in every workforce (which is nonsense since men and women are NOT the same), a sane person has to wonder what your side's problem is. Why are you guys such dicks about female Republicans when you haven't got your own house in order either? Unless you want everyone to see that you're full of sh!t, maybe you should practice what you preach and stop electing MOSTLY MEN. Oh, yeah, you might say: "Bu-bu-but at least Democrats are TRYING!" Who cares if they're FAILING can long as they claim to be trying, eh? I call bullsh!t.
Shame on you for pretending to be holier than thou. You're a fraud, clo.
