The reason to disqualify K is that he lies.
He lied about political stuff. He made up stuff about the thoroughness of Trump's vetting. He lied about his youthful drinking and aggression when drunk. So there's already a pattern in his conduct.
More even than his aggressive sexual behaviour when younger, which he seems to have grown out of, it is his lack of candour and his dissembling that make him unsuitable as a candidate for the Supreme Court.
For me, the claims of Dr Ford now also seem more likely to be honest than his. He wasn't the choirboy he portrays.
