One thing I remember about the movie culture of the time was that real men forced women, and women yielded and fell for forceful men. Think of James Bond and Pussy Galore, Clint Eastwood in Spaghetti Westerns, John Wayne.

Shocking when you see those movies now. But that was the way exemplary macho male behaviour was presented.

So I get that teenage boys were confused about where the red line was at that time. Especially ones in all boys schools.

Yes, the descriptions of his behaviour are over the line. But I am really most concerned by K now. No one aged 53 is all that much like they were at 17. You can't commit perjury and win a seat on the Supreme Court.

When he worked on Clinton's case he wanted to ask very detailed, embarrassing questions, for the hell of it.
Yet today he's entirely changed his opinion & doesn't think presidents should be bothered with being questioned, until they are out of office.

This, IMO, is the lure for Trump.

Being awkward & going for 'it', covering her mouth so she couldn't call for help is an entirely different scenario, its criminal.

And like you said, he danced during his hearing, he was too cute & its going to cost him. His reputation is forever tainted.
