When he worked on Clinton's case he wanted to ask very detailed, embarrassing questions, for the hell of it.
Yet today he's entirely changed his opinion & doesn't think presidents should be bothered with being questioned, until they are out of office.

This, IMO, is the lure for Trump.

Being awkward & going for 'it', covering her mouth so she couldn't call for help is an entirely different scenario, its criminal.

And like you said, he danced during his hearing, he was too cute & its going to cost him. His reputation is forever tainted.

The big problem for this guy was that he pretended to have no strong positions about anything in his hearings and to remember nothing when it came to controversial stuff he was involved in.

So I think he's not a candid sort of guy. He's a politician rather than a Justice. He says what works rather than what is truthful.

That makes me not trust his denials quite as much as I would if he had seemed candid in the first place.

We now have what appears to be a bit of a pattern in his behaviour as an adolescent. He is alleged to have pushed a little beyond the line of horsing around on several occasions. Dial it back 50% and it would be unremarkable, clumsy, normal, male, teenage overexuberance. But that's not quite where he was. He was sexually aggressive when drunk. Or so it appears.

I have a little sympathy with the fact he was a young man who didn't know how far he could go. But as an adult, he has set out his stall denying absolutely that the events occurred. I think this smells too much like perjury to give him a pass.
