There will be huge pressure from senators for Grassley to ask K to withdraw. No one can defend themselves against this at election time, if they voted in favour of K's nomination. They probably want to have a chance to keep their seat more than they care about K. They will blame McConnell, Grassley and Trump for the debacle. Grassley will blame the Dems. And so on.
