Enmity means "war". A constant battle between the lusts of the flesh and Spirit. Before we took Christ as Lord, we were at war against anything that was Spiritual and heavenly. Our "natural" spirit resisted any calls that were divine and spiritual. BUT HIS DEATH and ATONEMENT for our sins ABOLISHED that WALL and now we can hear the voice and power of God through Faith calling us to come to HIM...
