Romans 6:6-11 [KJV]
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
For he that is dead is freed from sin.
Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The reasons why those who place their faith, commit their very souls to Christ, take HIM as Savior and Lord of their life, are FREE from the fear of death. We do not die but leave this body and go straight into HIS presence. We leave the physical body behind and are given a new one that does not grow old or wear out. Our SPIRIT is made alive through HIS power and we will dwell in the House of our Lord forever!
WHY is this not true of NON-believers?
Because when they die here on earth, it is only death number 1. Their spirit also is eternal BUT because they chose NOT to trust in Christ but rather to REJECT HIM and deny HIM as GOD, LORD, SAVIOR, The Great Shepherd, those people cannot enter into the KIngdom of Heaven where HE is because they have never been cleansed BY HIS BLOOD and the stain of SIN removed from them. SIN cannot enter into GOD's presence.. SO, God has no choice but to send them to the place HE created for Satan and his demonic angelic host called demons who rebelled against the LORD and await their sentence to be carried out by being put into Hell, and then the the Lake of Fire for eternity.
Hell was not created for MANKIND. It was created for Satan and the rebellious angels who followed HIM and fought against GOD, and lost.
WHEN someone does not accept CHRIST as the WAY , The Truth, and the LIFE, and seek HIS forgiveness, and Cleansing by the BLOOD HE willingly shed on that Cross which cleanses us from our SINS, and does not ask HIM to Save them and BE their Savior and Lord, then that person does not want to spend eternity in Heaven with HIM.
That person cannot because they are still stained with SIN. WE are BORN with a SIN NATURE because of ADAM. The ONLY WAY to remove it is to have it cleansed and forgiven by the LORD JESUS CHRIST. THIS is why it is an eternally FATAL decision for anyone to reject HIS FREE GIFT of ETERNAL LIFE, to reject HIS work on the CROSS where HE offered HIMSELF as the SACRIFICE to GOD the FATHER for the atonement of ALL of OUR SINS for every person ever born because by rejecting HIM, they are forever tainted by SIN, still have a SIN NATURE, and cannot enter into HIS HOLY PRESENCE where SIN does not exist..... HE IS HOLY AND PURE as are those who have placed their complete trust in HIM because HE HAS WASHED THEM and removed their sin as far as the east is from the west.
MY prayer for all men, women, boys and girls is that they will take JESUS CHRIST, the Blessed SON of GOD, as Savior and LORD before it is too late for them to do so...
Hell is a horrible place. The LAKE of FIRE is even worse. The eternal torment will NEVER END. It is ETERNAL, no end, no other options, just continual BURNING and torture for hundreds of thousands of years, after years.....
RUN TO CHRIST TODAY if you have never asked HIM to come into your heart and save you... Don't wait...
