BREAKING: U.K. woman dies after exposure to Novichok, the same nerve agent used to poison ex-Russian spy
Dawn Sturgess, 44, has died after being exposed to the same type of nerve agent used against former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter, Yulia, British police said in a statement Sunday.
London's Metropolitan Police said detectives have launched a murder investigation following her death at a hospital Sunday evening local time. A man described as Sturgess’ friend, who was also exposed to the nerve agent and found in the same residence in Amesbury, England, remains critically ill in a hospital, according to police.
