Of course! It's one of the wealthier countries in the world on a per capita basis.

They also invest in infrastructure and education instead of concentrating wealth in the hands of very few people.

They have oil, so that helps them be wealthy as well.

The US isn't one of the most appealing places to live these days, and hasn't been for some time. The "greatest country on earth" talk has always been introspective. Most powerful is still true. Most influential has dropped off a cliff.
