It would, but they had to make a decision and there were weaknesses on both sides of the argument.

But there's no doubt in my mind that the inadequacies of the US constitution are a major problem in the world today. That, and the American right, which is unlike any other right of centre community anywhere else, and frankly, it's bonkers.

If only The Supreme's hadn't intervened in the 2000 election.
If Al Gore had been POTUS he wouldn't have attacked Iraq, Iran wouldn't have gained in strength.
Who knows if an Arab spring would have sprung?

Al would be helping to save the planet, not destroying it!

The world would be sooo different.
