I think the Dems should offer all Reaganites temporary visas in the Democratic Party. Dems won't argue with True Reaganites about economics or foreign policy until the rule of law is clearly reestablished in the USA.
At the minute, it has been rescinded after the President's attorney has made a claim that he is above the law, and cannot be subpoenaed or indicted. The silent status quo is no longer viable. Clarification of presidential powers has become necessary. And it must come in the Supreme Court. Following either a subpoena or an indictment.
A president who makes the claim that he cannot be indicted or subpoenaed, and that he can pardon himself, should be removed from office. There's a good place in which he can contemplate the issue for hours at a time. Before cleaning out the communal bathrooms.
