This year I had oral surgery, extractions. He wanted to know my pharmacy to get me Oxycontin, I told him forget it. I didn't even need a Tylenol. Just iced it off & on for a bit, because I can bruise easily. No problem.
Yes, and despite the doctor insisting on proscribing 30 tablets of hydrocodone, I've yet to see the need for taking even one. This of course is one reason why there's opioid crisis in this country (at least he didn't include any refills).
