Jarrett was born in Iran and has a mixed “racial” heritage. There are internet rumors Barr thought Jarrett was Iranian and “white”. I have no idea if that is the truth or not. Just throwing that out there. Not sure she should be crucified until she has had an opportunity to explain.
If she knew Jarrett’s heritage had an African-American component it was a completely stupid, indefensible remark.
