I agree it sounded racist. Racism is one of many ways to be rude and unsympathetic. But comics always tread a hard line between humour and offence and occasionally they cross the line.

It's admitting the mistake and apologising that wants recognition, in my view. If there's no welcome for forgiveness, one might as well live in the Middle East.

I know she supports Trump, but to me that's not the issue in this scenario.
