I'm going in the hospital this morning to have my gall bladder removed. It's being done as an outpatient procedure so if all goes well, I'll be home this afternoon. I've had a couple of severe attacks over the last 18 months and they finally decided to do something about it.

It sort of runs in the family. I can remember when my father had his gall bladder out back when he was in his 40's. Of course, in those days they opened you up like a sardine can, but now it's done as a laparoscopic procedure where you end up with three 'band-aids'. Our oldest son, who just turned 48, had his gall bladder out a year or so ago (like I said, it runs in the family). I least I managed to hold out until I was 70...

Anyway, I'll let you all know how it went when I get back.

Wish me luck, or rather wish that the surgical team has a good day Wink
