Also on Dec 12, 2016, Kushner’s assistant met with Russian ambassador Kislyak. Kislyak wanted to set up a meeting between Kushner and a Russian banker (Gorkov) close to Putin. That meeting happened Dec 13.
I think what is happening is that people who know stuff and don't know where to send it, send it to him, probably anonymously.
Meanwhile, Mueller is doubtless following up on the extortion of Ford. And I have little doubt he is following where the money goes when it leaves Essential Consultants' bank account. My guess it will be somewhere like the Cayman Islands.
