Attempted conspiracy and other baloney.

Never did any of it actually.

He just talked about it, which is what. I said, and you added nothing more. Righteousness doesn’t make for justice.

He was taken out to dry.

As for Trump. That’s another whole story.....Blago is a ziti in Donald’s ass by comparison.

Not a follower of the story recently, but here are the pertinent facts in the wikipedia history.

"The jury found him guilty of one charge of making false statements with a mistrial being declared on the other 23 counts due to a hung jury after 14 days of jury deliberation. On June 27, 2011, after a retrial, Blagojevich was found guilty of 17 charges (including wire fraud, attempted extortion, and conspiracy to solicit bribes), not guilty on one charge and the jury deadlocked after 10 days of deliberation on the two remaining charges."

Sounds to me like a person who, in serving time, provides a useful example of the importance of the rule of law in politics and government.

I hold Trump to the same standard.

I also notice Trump said pretty much what you said: “I think that’s an awfully tough sentence that he got for what supposedly he did. Because what he did is what politicians do all the time and make deals.”

For me, there isn't a special fuzzy standard for politicians. They are subject to law like everyone else. They can solicit legal advice and they can adhere to it. Indeed, particularly so.
