Yesterday it was reported Pew research had a poll, and even though Republicans hold all of the power, they feel they have less power, somewhere over 50% of them.

Reminds me of how many white folks feel they are on the short end of the stick. (I'm white)

It would be laughable if it wasn't so scary & pathetic.

Okay, we know it doesn't work for me. And it doesn't seem to have a foundation in knowledge or good sense.

My interpretation. It's a cry of despair. The American idea of unlimited freedom and nearly unlimited land has run its course. Now folks have to live within the constraints of being side by side: they can damage one another and the environment by expressing themselves without limit. Wealth isn't so easy to come by. There's a perception that other people are milking the system.

The country is trying to operate, like everywhere else, within constraints.

Hard process for a people that thought they were escaping social rules. They deliberately picked a guy who was a destroyer of worlds.
