I agree.

If she had stayed on Trump not being very rich, and stayed away from Sarah, except for maybe a reference to her pearls, she would have been funny.

Instead she played into the complaint many Trump voters have.

That said, no one is more offensive than TRUMP, for him to complain is laughable.

I don't think it does. In fact, I think rather the opposite. When humour merely expresses ill-will, it doesn't penetrate too well.

A few years ago, that was the model used with actors. Now it is the method with politicians.

I wouldn't show up to be the butt of that sort of humour. It has to make me laugh for it to be worth getting dressed up.
