That's right. He would still have a passport stamp wherever he arrived in Europe, if he did. The Schengen area is the group of countries which don't require a person to show their passports when crossing internal European borders.

So if he went to Germany or Italy, say, having a passport stamp showing he entered the country means he might easily have visited Prague. There wouldn't be an extra stamp in his passport.

But if there isn't a passport stamp anywhere within the Schengen area, then, unless he cleaned his passport of its stamps or has another passport, he can fairly and squarely assert the fact that he didn't visit.

This kind of thing is surely easy for someone to discover. Unless he thinks no one knows about the Schengen area (LOL!), then his strong rebuttals probably indicate he didn't go. Because it would be idiotic to pretend otherwise. Surely he's not that dumb.

From what I've heard he could take a train to Prague without needing his passport stamped.
