which is code for ... we will not defend you if you do that.

If Trump did nothing wrong he has nothing to fear from Mueller. But his behaviour seems to imply he has things to fear.

Even csl seemed to suggest he suspects criminality by invoking the setting aside of the fifth amendment amongst his concerns. But Trump and his attorney created their own problems by the way they set up or purport to have set up their NDAs.

Someone should tell Trump that if you are innocent, act like it.

Oh. Someone did that already. And he ignored them.

Top Judiciary Republican: It's 'suicide for the President to fire' Mueller

By Suzanne Malveaux, CNN
Updated 11:14 AM ET, Tue April 10, 2018

(CNN)The top Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee said Tuesday that if President Donald Trump were to fire special counsel Robert Mueller, "it would be suicide."

"I think it would be suicide for the President to fire him," Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley told CNN. "I think the less the President says about this whole thing, the better off he will be. And I think Mueller is a person of stature and respected and I respect him. Just let the thing go forward."
