if it damages the rural districts which voted for Trump?
I'd rather they came to their senses. But if anyone is going to be harmed, the folks responsible for all of the stoopid policies ought to pay the price of them.
Maybe rural folk will prove capable of realising that their great leader produced their poverty. Maybe not. It's coming either way, unless the US backs down.
And of course, the US wants China on its side with North Korea. Bullying isn't the best way to make friends and influence people.
This is not to say that China doesn't cheat on technology. But Trump started the war over steel. So I doubt technology is his concern.
