Trump's biggest draw, besides 'crooked Hillary' was the call to build the wall.
he forgets the second part, Mexico will pay for it.

He's pissed the omni bill didn't give him more for his wall, and some in his base complained that he signed it without getting 'the wall' & threatened him. Ann Coulter, etc.

Now I hear they are going to try to carve out some things in the bill that the Democrats wanted, you know programs helping people, not corporations...
I don't know if they will be able to do this? Republicans are already facing headwinds for 2018 elections.
But you never know....

It's a curious thing. In the end, not much use for Trump who wants to portray a massive problem. The fizzle makes his wall seem pointless.
