Wouldn't it be original if a Republican wasn't obsessed with hatred for the Clintons?
It emanates from Fox News, of course, which worked out long ago that collective hatred is a great motivator and community-former. Certainly more than observation and political theory.
Works in reverse to some extent. Dubya was the object of hatred when he was president. But it doesn't persist for quite as long.
For myself, I thought I saw an evolution in Dubya's presidency. He became less ideological. It was a shame his policies produced 2008, because his final quarter was otherwise not nearly as bad as the previous three.
