It's the misinformation after the poisoning which tells you how bold he has become.
The Russians poisoned. They denied it. Then they sent out the fake accounts and the bot messages to the population of gullible conspiracy theorists who will swallow these kinds of messages.
But at last we are watching them and making it clear what they are doing. And responding.
The thing is, it's so foolish. Russia has a small economy and it really ought to be working on expanding that. But he keeps making it impossible. It seems like his only means of seeking more power is to damage other countries.
