"Any person that couldn't see that has problems."

Bear in mind, this is how it works. Undermine the sense of the sincerity of the messenger and you can get people to ignore the message. Putin and the NRA know this. They have figured how to lead their supporters around by the nose through the media (from Fox to prejudiced websites). csl's reaction is typical of the result of this process.

I am sure the teenagers are sincere and I am sure they are a canary in the coalmine. The status quo doesn't work. More guns doesn't work. Maybe try the solution which works everywhere. Regulate gun ownership, like you regulate the use of cars. Calibrate the regulation to American society.

Absolute rights imagined by single issue fanatics are always found wanting. The only viable rights models admit and describe the exceptions to the rules. And the exceptions to the exceptions. This is why the common law is a better system of discovery than the US Constitution. It evolves according to circumstances and doesn't overvalue the initial principle.

There was an 11 yr old Black girl that spoke so powerfully & with grace she brought me to tears.

She spoke of the Black girls & women in her neighborhood who were killed by guns, yet didn't make the front page of the newspapers.

A 17 yr old boy, who's twin brother was shot in the head coming home from school. He had a bright future ahead, wanted to be a forensic pharmacologist. And was a great dresser & lite up the room.

Another teen was so emotional, she threw up on stage.

These children have survived traumatic, life changing experiences.

Any person that couldn't see that has problems.
