Tillerson didn't know?

I can only imagine the explosion when he was told. All of his hard work is being wasted by the buffoon he works for.

Just been looking up. Apparently he's saying Trump will have "talks" and not "negotiations" with Un. ie He knows the dunce can't negotiate his way through a Moscow hotel room without leaving a trail of disaster behind him.

You're right Cactus Flower.

Trump needed to change the subject(s).

Poor Rex Tillerson was the last to hear, caught blindsided while traveling.

Trump doesn't do the footwork to know how to deal with this, he likes the headlines & compliments.
'We' don't even have an ambassador of South Korea, nor people in place to advance 'talks' with care. Not that Trump would listen to them...

Why would Kim denuclearize? he knows what happened to Gaddafi & Saddam after they did.
