One of the things on my bucket list is to visit Greece and see several things there, but I want to see wha is left of those magnificently engineered and architected buildings like the Parthenon among others.
That would still be in one piece today were it not for a gun powder explosion inside it was storing. Another engineering marvel was the way the foundations were designed. They contoured the shape of the earth. Curved.
The mathematics and astronomy and philosophy that came from the ancient Greek civilization is something the entire world owes a debt of gratitude to.....

This old boy needs to go lat down. Very tired from a sleepless night between my severe low spine pain issue and my wife having a hard time with some pretty tight muscles and hurting her, neither of us got much sleep.
I finally gave in a bit ago and took a pain pill my surgeon prescribed. It is taking its toll but helping to mask the severe pain.
